QC Guest Strip 2000I have never even read The Dark Tower, but apparently that's what a million kids are assuming this is instead of El Topo.
Also
Lem, kindest boy in the western world, did a
guest strip for Lucid TV this week, and I did one for
Bellen! a while ago (I met Box Brown at MoCCA he is a nice guy
his book is great).
All copies of There is a Light are
in the dang mail. I'm sorry it took so long, other things went nuts the second people started buying them. A good kind of nuts, but still enough to keep me away from the post office for a month.
Now that there is nothing anyone can do about it:
here it is in its entirety. I am
sure you already know
Geoff. If you didn't that would be embarrassing (for you).
SO, I have a college degree in the
soft sciences, I have an apartment and a job in Easthampton, I move in the beginning of August, I even have some paying comic projects off in the distance (money? cashy
spendy money?!) Things are good I guess!
Last saturday night, I went to Northampton to see Magnolia Electric Co. with old time Danbury bros and met Jeph there. The show was great, they played a bunch of old songs (rare for them) in addition to most of the new album. The place cleared out quickly and we managed to spend a solid 15 minutes hanging around Jason Molina, talking about Eddie Van Halen, Will Schaff and Cy Twombly. I gave him a drawing, he drew a thing in my moleskine. He is the nicest guy.
Now that I have met him, if the Robin Williams-voiced genie I assume is in The Dark Tower said that I could meet any living person, I would choose to meet Jason Molina again. I guess am already friends with all other people I would otherwise elect to meet? (awwwww)
